1. Basic Information of Testing: This test report conducts a comprehensive test on the empty caviar tin box with lid (hereinafter referred to as "sample"). The entrusting party of the test is the relevant production enterprise, and the testing institution is a third-party professional testing organization with dual CNAS and CMA certifications. The purpose of the test is to verify whether the core indicators such as material safety, process precision and sealing performance of the sample meet the relevant standards for food contact containers, and provide authoritative data support for the compliant use of the sample. The tested samples are of conventional caviar storage size, made of food-grade tinplate with sealed metal lids. 10 samples are randomly selected in batches. The test process strictly follows the relevant standards such as GB 4806.9-2023 "National Food Safety Standard for Metal Materials and Products in Contact with Food" to ensure that the test results are true, accurate and traceable.
2. Testing Items and Standards: This test covers four core items: material safety, sealing performance, process precision and corrosion resistance. The testing standards strictly follow the relevant national and international norms, as follows: material safety testing follows GB 4806.9-2023 and relevant French DGCCRF standards; sealing performance testing follows the air tightness testing specification for food contact metal containers; process precision testing follows the process quality control standard for metal packaging containers; corrosion resistance testing follows the relevant test method of GB 31604.8, comprehensively covering the core quality requirements of the empty caviar tin box with lid, ensuring that the sample is suitable for the storage of high-end foods such as caviar.
3. Testing Process and Results: 1. Material Safety Testing: ICP-MS detection method is used to detect the migration of heavy metals in the sample substrate and coating, focusing on detecting harmful elements such as lead, chromium, nickel, arsenic and cadmium. The test results show that the lead migration is ≤0.01mg/kg, chromium migration is ≤0.05mg/kg, arsenic migration is ≤0.03mg/kg, and cadmium migration is ≤0.01mg/kg, all of which are far lower than the limit values of GB 4806.9-2023 and DGCCRF standards. The sample has no peculiar smell and no harmful substances, meeting the safety requirements for metal materials in contact with food, and can be safely used for storing caviar and other foods. At the same time, the sample substrate is made of food-grade tinplate with uniform and dense coating. The detected tin migration is ≤200mg/kg, which meets the specific index requirements of tin-plated materials.
2. Sealing Performance Testing: Using the negative pressure leak detection method, the sample is sealed and placed in a negative pressure environment of -0.08MPa for 30 minutes. No leakage or air leakage is observed throughout the process. The test results show that the sample has excellent air tightness and qualified sealing performance. This performance can effectively isolate air, moisture and dust, prevent caviar from oxidation and deterioration during storage, ensure the freshness of stored items, and meet the core use requirements of the empty caviar tin box.
3. Process Precision Testing: Professional precision measuring instruments are used to detect the roundness, wall thickness, lid fit and surface flatness of the sample can body. The roundness deviation of the sample can body is ≤0.1mm, the wall thickness is uniform with a deviation of ≤0.05mm, the metal lid fits closely with the can body, opens and closes smoothly without jamming. The surface is carefully treated, without burrs, scratches or paint peeling. The process precision fully meets the standard requirements, highlighting the quality texture of the high-end caviar tin box.
4. Corrosion Resistance Testing: The sample is immersed in 5% NaCl solution for 96 hours to simulate a humid and salty environment. After the test, the surface of the sample has no pitting, rust or deformation, and the coating has no peeling. The corrosion resistance is up to standard. This performance can ensure that the sample is not easy to be damaged during long-term use, adapt to different storage environments, extend the service life, and meet the needs of long-term storage of caviar.
4. Test Conclusion: The 10 samples of empty caviar tin boxes with lids tested this time have passed comprehensive testing. The four core indicators of material safety, sealing performance, process precision and corrosion resistance all meet the requirements of relevant national and international standards such as GB 4806.9-2023 and DGCCRF, with no unqualified items. The sample is safe and non-toxic in material, excellent in sealing performance, exquisite in craftsmanship and strong in corrosion resistance. It can be safely and stably used for the storage of high-end foods such as caviar. The test results are true and effective, and can be used as an authoritative basis for the compliant use of the sample.
